Description

Our Glycolic acid peel (33%) is an excellent universal exfoliator/peel for most skin types. Glycolic acid has been well studied and proven to reduce breakouts, minimize the signs of aging, and brighten the complexion. It is frequently performed in a series either weekly, bi-monthly or with every maintenance facial treatment.

Skin Type

All non-sensitive skin types. Targeted for sluggish, unevenly textured or acne prone skin.

Direction

• Step 1: Double cleanse the skin thoroughly with appropriate cleanser.
• Step 2: After cleansing, apply a thin coat of Glycolic Peel PRO with a semi-stiff fan brush to the face and neck. Avoid eye, nose, and mouth openings. Clients/patients may experience a mild tingle. A handheld fan may be used for additional comfort. The peel is left on for approximately 2-4 minutes (depending on skin type) and removed with water, wet sponges or 4×4 cotton squares until the client/patient does not feel any more sensation/tingling. The timing starts once you begin to apply the product. Client’s eyes should be closed during the application of the product.
  The peel is not recommended for clients/patients with eczema, or on areas that have been waxed or lasered sooner than 1 week prior.
• Step 3: Remove/neutralize with cotton squares or gauze soaked in water/baking soda mixture. Inform the client that it is not unusual to feel a mild tingling sensation during the peel as well as the neutralizing process.
• Step 4: Apply facial mask per skin type.
• Step 5: Apply targeted serum and moisturizer.
• Step 6: Finish with sunscreen application.
