The Jessner Detox Peel Mini

• Indications: Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, Melasma, Photodamage, Blemish-Prone, Comedones, Milia, Asphyxiated Skin, Uneven Skin Tone, Oily Skin
  
• Composition: 14% Lactic Acid, 14% Salicylic Acid, 14% Resorcinol in Alcohol

Professional Protocol:

Double Cleanse & Prep with Lipid Drops on the lips, nasolabial folds, around the perimeter of the eyes, and corners of the nose.

Apply with a brush or non-woven gauze.

Peel may be layered as patient builds tolerance. Apply to three coats allowing 3-5 minutes between coats. Intensity will vary based on the patient’s skin and the current condition of the skin. Pressure and quantity of solution determines the end result. Keep these two variables constant. A fan may be used during the peel to alleviate discomfort.

Neutralization is not necessary, as this peel is self-neutralizing. Frosting may occur. Do not attempt to remove the frosting, but simply calm the skin with water compresses and LED light therapy, if possible, for 10-15 minutes.

If you choose to neutralize, remove the peel with water. Mix 3/4 Baking Soda with 1/4 water to serve as a neutralizer. Press the mixture into the skin with non-woven gauze until the tingling sensation subsides.

Continue on with a calming facial mask, LED light therapy, and/or appropriate Courtney Sykes Molecular Moisture Serum.
